"Lyncroft guided me towards my love for hospitality, teaching me the importance of putting other's needs ahead of my own.  The energetic atmosphere and the knowledgeable mentors keep me coming back for more work."

"My co-op is completed, and I now have 2 extra high school credits, thanks to Lyncroft.  Lyncroft presented me with many challenges, which worked out well for me because I enjoy challenge.  I will admit, at the beginning I was astounded at all the work done in a day, but what did I expect? This is a hospitality center! I also enjoyed the family atmosphere.  Both my parents and my co-op teacher remarked on how open and welcoming everyone at Lyncroft was.  It’s like a professional home!"

Eva McGuire, 2009

"Three and a half years later, I’m still able to advise my sisters and friends on the best way to get a stain out of a shirt!"

Theresa Zettel, 2008

"At Lyncroft I have learned the importance of plate presentations, and cooking terms like julienning vegetables and sautéing onions.  Table manners was also a very interesting and informative class.  Now I know how to serve myself and others without spilling! I also got to practice deboning chicken –you should definitely try it!"

Doanna Bugash, 2011

"One of the most important things I learned in Lyncroft was to focus.  This will help me in the future to get any job done on time.  I also learned how to follow instructions and to love what I am doing.  I am thankful for this amazing experience and I encourage Lyncroft to continue the co-op program since it has been such a blessing to me."

Libanos Yehualashet, 2007

"My time spent at Lyncroft is irreplaceable. I have learned valuable skills that I never thought I would ever learn in my entire life. I have met many people with different backgrounds and different types of personalities.  Because of these people, I find it hard to not smile every day.   Lyncroft has taught me the importance of family.  It has taught me that you do not have to be wealthy to be happy.  Sometimes giving happiness to others, whether it is through service or little acts of kindness, can make you happy."

Christine Nguyen, 2014

"Since I began working at Lyncroft, I have learned and developed so many life skills. From working in the laundry, kitchen, dining room, and cleaning, there is always an opportunity to learn new things. I am constantly improving and strengthening my abilities and skills. The hands-on training you get when you first begin and all the wonderful people who you meet along the way will definitely change your life. The moment you walk into the building, you are greeted with an atmosphere of positivity, friendliness, and enthusiasm which makes you want to keep coming back again and again."
