Job Opportunities for Students

 

As a Hospitality Service Assistant, you will be trained in:

Part Time and Full Time Jobs

 

The full-time  position involves working from 9 am to 7:15 pm, with a two hour break in the afternoon, Mondays to Fridays.  Our flexible shifts help make school and work compatible.

Part-time employees work any of the following shifts:

Monday to Friday

  • 9:00 am to 12:00 noon

  • 9:00 am to 2:15 pm

  • 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm

Saturday and/or Sunday

  • 10:00 am to 2:30 pm

Live-in summer Program

 

A paid job opportunity for 3-5 weeks in the summer.  The Live-in Summer traineeship Program combines work with professional and personal development classes.  There are few positions available.

 

Applications open in January and close once positions are filled.  This is an ideal program for students residing outside the Toronto area and who would like to experience Lyncroft but cannot travel on a regular basis during the school year.   Examples of some of the classes given in the past are: Bread Making, Working with Chocolate, Sewing 101, Fruit Care and Presentation, etc.
