Chipnee Trails
At Chipnee, we aim to create an atmosphere of fun and excitement where campers can develop new interests, practice a spirit of service, work as a team, explore the natural environment, and make lasting friendships. We focus on deep values like how to be a great friend because hopefully this is what the campers will carry with them for life. The bottom line: Chipnee doesn't just entertain -- it builds minds and shapes lives.
Chipnee Trails Camp takes place from July 21-24, 2011 at a private farmhouse near Collingwood, Ontario. The camp accomodates thirty girls, ranging in age from 9 to 16 years.
The 14- to 16- year olds work in leadership positions (e.g. Counselors in Training or CITs, assistant drama instructor, etc.), with mentoring from senior staff members. These teens must first complete a Leadership Training Program (LTP). You can now download LTP information and registration form from this website.
We offer activities such as hiking, swimming at a nearby beach, scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, drama, hands-on cooking classes, star-gazing, campfires and more.
